The Singapore Environment Council (SEC) was founded as a non-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO) in 1995. It is independently administered. They are Singapore's lone official member of the Global Ecolabelling Network (GEN). The GEN is an international nonprofit alliance of the top eco-labeling organizations. SEC received accreditation as an environmental NGO from the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in 2018. They coordinate environmental activities in Singapore and the area and impact how people think about sustainability concerns. They are recognized as an Institution of Public Character (IPC) and grant benefactors tax exemption status.

To help the global energy transformation, Sembcorp is dedicated to converting its portfolio from brown to green.  Their renewable energy portfolio, which includes wind, solar, and energy storage in our priority areas, has a gross renewable energy capacity of 11.0 GW installed and under development, and they continue to target expansion in this industry.  Their carbon management company, GoNetZeroTM, offers one-stop access to renewable energy and carbon management solutions, including high quality and validated renewable energy certificates and carbon credits, to assist their partners with their own decarbonization ambitions.

The WWF aims to support local communities in conserving the natural resources they rely on, in changing markets and regulations to be more sustainable, and in preserving and restoring species and their habitats. Through their efforts, they make sure that from a local to a global level, decisions are made with consideration for the worth of nature. Cutting-edge conservation science is combined with the strength of WWF's field partners, their network of more than 5 million supporters worldwide and 1.3 million in the United States, as well as their collaborations with organizations, businesses, and governments.
